Kawara Museum

Kikuma (Imabari City in Ehime) is famous for its KAWARA (roof tiles).
When you enter the KAWARA MUSEUM,
You can enjoy learn about Kikuma roof tiles and Kikuma town itself.
There are onigawara (demon tiles) used to ward off evil
and tiles from temples and shrines hundreds of years old.
There is a workshop where you can have fun making roof tiles yourself, too!
Alternatively, you can buy small Kawara goods for souvenirs.
